- Worked for Fortune 50 companies in the US including Sears, Roebuck & Co. (the then world’s largest retail operator), and the largest companies in different industries in Japan including Nakajima All Co. (the then world’s largest electronic typewriters).
- Had numerous business discussions and negotiations with top and senior managements in the world-class companies in Japan including Mitsui, Mitsubishi, Honda, Hitachi, NEC, Sanyo, Fujitsu, Sharp, Toshiba, Sumitomo, Marubeni, Itochu, Sega, Nintendo, Canon, Honda, Panasonic, Sony, Seiko, Denon and most major retailers in Japan.
- Negotiated and completed strategic distribution agreements with the largest electric manufacturer, the largest conglomerate, the largest music entertainment company and the largest dental manufacturing distributor in Japan.
- Negotiated and completed international distribution agreements with most major US and European office equipment manufacturers including SCM, Royal, Olympia, Olivetti and Triumph.
- Established solid contacts with senior managements in many Japanese premier department stores.
- Established solid contacts with the largest Japanese TV broadcasting company for Japanese infomercial operation.
- Established solid contacts with major Japanese catalog houses.
- Obtained 35% of overall market share and 90% of the dental market share in Japan for Sonicare sonic toothbrush.
- Increased the annual sales revenues from US$500,000 to US$11 million for Optiva Corporation, a U.S. manufacturer of Sonicare sonic toothbrush within a three-year period.
- Increased the annual sales revenues from US$1.5 million to US$450 million for Nakajima All Co. a Japanese portable electric typewriter manufacturer within a seven-year period.
- Incorporated the first overseas sales offices in Japan for several US companies.
- Established the first overseas head offices and the manufacturing plant in the US for several Japanese companies including Nakajima, CAM and EKOS.
- Recipient of the Sears Tower Award from Sears, Roebuck & Co. for two years for innovative product developments that meet American consumers’ wants and needs.
- Has extensive knowledge on Japanese culture, business practice, market and industry trends, life style and the latest consumers’ mind-set.
